Jeffrey Archer

Wow. I don't think I could be any more confused. Four men and their four wives all in politics. In Britain. Each is in one of two different parties (which have nicknames I can never keep straight). I don't understand what the hell a Whip is, nor half of the parliamentary procedures or positions. There is a page of one man, then the next, then another, and another, and it's so confusing I don't know where I am or why I'm still reading. But I am.

I still don't really understand what's going on, but I'm starting to get it. Just as I figure out who's married to whom, one of them gets divorced or has an affair. Aiee.

Just finished it this morning, while I should have been getting ready for work. Interesting. I had to cover the last page to keep myself from reading ahead because the ending was a suspense right up until then. I still don't know who belonged to which party.
