Tonight, once I gather together all I need for a couple of days, I'm heading to my parents' place for Xmas. Or, as I've taken to calling it, Shmishmas. Hee.

I'm a little disoriented at the moment because I just got out of bed and it's suppertime. I left work and got into bed at 3pm, and now it's 5pm, and I slept so soundly it feels like a new day, yet it's pitch black, yet it's only evening. It IS the shortest day of the year, after all (Happy Solstice!).

Anyway. Kevin was heading to work just as I was leaving it, and he'll be going home afterwards at about 1.30am. Tomorrow is Shmishmas Eve and we still haven't figured out our holiday schedule. We need to come up with a plan for being in two places at once, methinks, and of course that never works.

I still feel like a lame-ass because he'll have a present for me, and I'll have nothing for him to open. I wanna make him let me wrap the guitar and have him open it like he'd never seen it before. Heh.

Ok. I'm babbling. I need to find some food and clean up and pack.
