Mm, my date the other night had a song playing in the car, and in the midst of a conversation I suddenly interrupted with, "What is THIS?" He had to look it up when he got home, and he messaged me with the name: KT Tunstall. I had no idea if that was a person or a band or a what, so I broke out my not-oft-used downloading software and checked out the whole CD.

Holy smokes. I'm now breaking out my credit card to order, because I need to own this and support. Love it.

I've been trying to think of who she reminds me of, and I'll need further investigation (where IS that CD?), but I think it's Carmen Townsend, whom I just discovered is in the ECMA showcase this year.
